Return to Abode

on Thursday, 30 July 2020
Often I think
how my body will be consumed by the world.
All this, I think being at an isolated time and space in the world
The air in the niche has smell, taste and colour
And my body’s thoughts are perpetuated
like the fragrance of a curry while cooking.
We are prisoners of our thoughts
nobody will be there! Everyone will appear like thoughts in ant’s hill
There isn’t a virus worst than a disgusting idea
We are homeless, wanderers by parting from homes
We don’t have pupil to view nature
We assume that being home is stay at hospital
Our being of born, marriage and death everything is endorsed on a piece of identity paper
By engaging with death we turned our homes as hospitals
We are unsocial sapiens
Now how can we lock our thoughts?
Schools, shops and shrines everything are closed
Universe is infected with virus
What we earned learned and lived is all trash…
come, now, nature's abode is our school
At least now will rectify our misdeeds
At least now will know who resides, when they will return and when they leave
how they are, and what they want to be…
Unlike WHATTS APP messages, will converse with open hearts
Virus will appear and exit
But if the enduring aspirations of living together wither away, they seldom revisit
We are all global beings
Need to dismantle the contaminated thoughts
which infect   our enshrined abode of feelings
With   vision of white neem flowers
embedded in tender parrot green  colored  leaves
Come, let us return to our abode…

Lock down time

on Thursday, 23 April 2020

Unrevolving wheel
Sequestration of thoughts
Prickle like seconds needle sound
(Photo is taken in 2000 at Burandoddi,Kurnool dist.A.P.,India. during the
time of drought farmers place the wheels at doors and migrate for work)

Dry leaves courtyard

on Saturday, 18 January 2020

Mid afternoon
In the dead streets
As if someone wandering alone
A thought drifting away from the eye
A dry leaf will be floating in the air
Dry leaves in the evening
Rays of twilight torch
Like lake’s bund
Unspoken reminiscences sight
Night
Dry leaves forest
------------
Ritually she sweeps the dry leaves
 Pitched   in the courtyard
At dawn and dusk
But the dry leaves litter continue to descend
Like members who have left home in pout
Incapable to leave
And will be wandering around there
Like early sun rays
They will be falling in the courtyard again and again
Dry leaves courtyard
Melodies of earth anklets.

More half

on Sunday, 14 April 2019

While rearranging   the house
I found the forgotten more half book
Can recollect the gossips with friends
Able to convert old conversations into fresh
Now
In the books shelf more half has got its room
As if space has entered into abode

Eternal Journey

on Saturday, 21 July 2018

Here...
Tamarind trees on both sides of the road
Layered with faded white and black color on the foreground
On foreheads of their trunk
Stand still…
As if the forefathers of the town
Twittering green musings of the bygone era
To the travelers
(To Gundi Shivani, new bus stand road,Kadpati,15-7-2018)

Shower of earth

on Tuesday, 5 December 2017
Symbols of ploughed fields
anatomy of rain
after departing the village

Drought
black rain

Cloudless sky
cities route
siren for people
pro labor

Blackened sky
disposed black soil fields
white cotton flower

Drought
naked earths bathe

Post Truth

on Tuesday, 1 August 2017
My poem stays in the pages of the note book
For years
As I am looking at my pale face in the mirror again and again
Moments jog pairing illustrious feelings with words
Book unfastens by the whirl of the wind
Few words take their own path leaving blank space in the sentence
Like cleaning the stained mirror
For having a better reflection of the virtual face
Unfinished poem shelved in the book
Virtual image breathing in the mirror
Mirror! Mirror!! on the wall….
Whose images are the most beautiful ones in the world?
Real image in the mirror says…
True images on the time line are caged words
Unless you wake up early morning
And say to the book it’s show time
Let the words in pages
Survive like breathing book lungs

Whispers

on Monday, 14 December 2015

They rest
With pale shadows
Gazing at the changing horizons
Haunting me.
I can’t hear
The echo of my heart
Lost in the exasperating crowd.
My ancestors lived in them.
The ever widening roads
And pigeon holes
Brushed them away.
They are now ruins!
We engrave
Our beloved ones names
On their walls
Spit  ugly colors
But they still
Gaze at my offspring and murmur

“This was an abode of ours”

Mythical memories

on Wednesday, 28 January 2015
Even my thoughts figure
Like water images
Under a microscopic eye
Memories of both
Have similar moon
We both are astronauts
Flying in forms of memoirs
Fulfilling one’s own thirst
With an iceberg breathe
Our aspirations are
Dancing feet of penguins
Just join us in the party

With naked truths

Deferred monsoon

on Wednesday, 23 July 2014

Hope is incarcerated
As a date in the calendar
Celebrating every day
As an event of depleted emotional relations
Sky resembles an embryo of misdeeds
Clouds float like
Guillotine of green soil
 Sunflowers in the farms
Cover their faces
With a suicidal note of the sons of soil
Thoughts are rusted nails in the coffin
Carved words on the grave stone
Are rituals of last rain drops
Which fill the thirst of parched souls
Of ceremonial visitors

Climbers

on Saturday, 28 June 2014
My roots penetrate
Into hidden layers of the soil
Unfold into chorus
Orchestrated by vivid birds on the branches
Few petals dancing to the wind and rain
Fall on earth
As a tribute to the path
This paved a journey to abode
The serenity beneath the footprints
Blossoms in the sky
My eyes embrace the trunks in the woods
As I move ahead

Whirl

on Friday, 9 May 2014
Mid afternoon heat
Frenzy red flowers
A mild breeze sprays
Tender colors
On the naked earth
Like left over water drops on her body
After the bathe
The floor beneath my lone thoughts
Expands and compresses
Painting orange color in the sky
 Slowly I enter the abode
A night borne in ecstasy

Silence of the dawn dispel
With song of the bird
My sight branches out
With dew drops on red flowers

Spread across between us

As I move on-

Spider’s eye

On dark window pane

Some Times…

on Saturday, 15 February 2014

Sometimes dying is a beautiful pain
Leaving the nature of sharing behind us

Some Times…
Resting in peace
Growing again and again

Some Times…
Blossoming In the innocent eyes
Budding at eternal moments

Some Times…
Looking at dawn sprouting with nascent images
And floating with closed eyes

Some Times…
Flying with winged dreaming eyes
Coupled with the viewer and the entity

Some Times…
Placing aspirations in the tender foot steps marks
Building foundations for heaven on earth

Some Times…
Embracing the soul once for ‘all’
Traversing with transient colors of joy

Sometimes…
Sitting on a shore of a still pond throwing pebbles
And observing the ripples with in oneself

Sometimes…
Dying is a beautiful pain
Rather breathing like a living dead corpse everyday and hour

Black and green

on Tuesday, 14 January 2014

The departed chameleon
Under the Gulmohar tree
The yearning of it
Lies in green
Suffused in brownish yellow ochre ground

Embryonic season
Yet to arrive
Shades of the tree
 And the chameleon’s eyes
Still black
In the offing
For version of natures shades

In blossoming season
Soul of chameleon
Is a withering petal of the flower
Fleeting towards the earth

And the full moon
Budding in reddish orange color
Prayer of parishioners

Terrains of sky and soil
Embroidered in black tinted green dream

Boundary Wall

on Tuesday, 7 January 2014

Eyes struck to the peripheral horizon
Voices of invisible faces
Heard in my soul

Before the departure and way in
Crossing the corridor line
Hop, hop on space and time
Living within the fortifications
In-house relations and external associations
They hang on
Like the earrings of gossip mongers

Even after we vanish from the address
A seed disbursed by the bird
Sprouts in the forbidden partition
The dwelling walls expose countless stories
Akin to the signature of the nest
Resonance from cavity in the trunk
Testimony of the naked earth
An indigenous thought
Dissolving aromatic mist
In mud’s chore

(6-1-14, to the boundary walls of my abode)

Forest Seed

on Wednesday, 6 November 2013

Silence in the woods
Simmers in the ears
Like lava in phantom hills

The sound of the cricket
Serenade earths embryo

Walking alone
In the mid hot sun
The shadow of the eyes
Following the soul

The internal song
Heard unto the destiny

No one is found with in sight

Stationed at the doorway of the forest

And the periphery of the village horizon

Whether the palm tree

Rooted in the banyan tree

Or the banyan tree entrenched in the palm tree

Like temples of local deities

A quiet traverse
In quest embracing the birds seed tweet

Which drew the euphoria of diversity in oneness …
